Amidosulfuron is a post-emergence sulfonylurea herbicide used for selective control of broadleaf weeds such as cleavers and docks in cereals including wheat, barley, rye, oats and triticale, and in grassland and pasture. It inhibits acetolactate synthase, disrupting amino acid synthesis in susceptible plants.
