The Millex™ PVDF syringe filter (SLHV004SL) is a sterile, low-protein-binding filter made from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), designed for the filtration of aqueous and organic solutions in laboratory settings. It removes particles down to 0.45 micrometers, ensuring sample purity in applications like cell culture, molecular biology, and HPLC sample preparation. This filter features a 4 mm diameter, is suited to small sample volumes of up to a few millilitres, and has a hydrophilic membrane that resists chemical degradation. It is pre-sterilized by gamma irradiation and packaged in a sterile, peelable pouch. No safety warnings apply, and it can be stored at ambient conditions.
