TAE buffer (50X) is a high-performance electrophoresis buffer used for separating DNA fragments in agarose gel electrophoresis. It provides optimal resolution for routine molecular biology applications, particularly for larger DNA molecules. This concentrated stock solution contains 242 g/L Tris base, 57.1 g/L glacial acetic acid, and 100 mL/L of 0.5 M EDTA (pH 8.0). Store at ambient temperature, sealed to prevent evaporation. The product carries a Warning signal word with hazard statement H373 (may cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure).
