Hexamethylphosphorous triamide (HMPT) is a P(III) aminophosphine reagent and strong coordinating ligand used in organic synthesis, particularly in deoxygenation and desulfurization reactions, olefin synthesis from aldehydes, and metal-catalyzed reactions.
