N-Methylaniline is a colorless to pale yellow liquid used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of dyes, rubber chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. It also serves as a solvent for organic reactions and for nitrocellulose, and as an acid acceptor in synthetic chemistry. It is a toxic, flammable substance requiring careful handling.
