Thymolphthalexone is a metallochromic indicator used in analytical chemistry for complexometric (EDTA) titrations of alkaline-earth metals such as calcium, strontium and barium. In alkaline media it forms a blue complex with these metal ions, and the colour change at the titration endpoint reflects release of the metal to EDTA rather than a simple acid-base transition. Available in 1 g, 5 g, and 25 g packaging, with a purity of ≥98.0% (GC). Molekula supplies Thymolphthalexone from research to bulk quantities with full documentation and ISO 9001:2015 traceability.

This substance is available from Molekula on enquiry. Full specification, Safety Data Sheet and Certificate of Analysis documentation are provided with your quotation once our team confirms the grade and pack size you need.
