Chloroform BP is a high-purity solvent widely used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory extraction processes. Beyond these, it is the main feedstock for the refrigerant HCFC-22, a raw material for PTFE plastics, and a solvent for fats, oils, rubber, waxes and resins.
